History
Sueca 13 opened its doors on September 15, 2015. Manuel and Laura dreamed of creating a vibrant space in the heart of Ruzafa, where customers could find fresh flowers—preferably seasonal and locally grown—as well as indoor and outdoor plants from local or nearby nurseries, fruit trees…and all kinds of handcrafted decorative accessories made from materials such as ceramics, esparto grass, jute, and raffia.
But they were also looking for a vibrant space where they could come to relax, play the piano, enjoy art exhibitions, participate in floral workshops, or watch short plays. An oasis where they could be part of neighborhood life, where simply being there was our main purpose.
A few years later, the family has changed. Some have left temporarily, and others have joined us. Welcome, Fer! The essence of the flower shop remains, and its beauty is still intact. We love our work and feel fortunate to have nature so close by. We have our own unique style and strive to innovate while maintaining the quality of our floral and plant arrangements. We learn something new every day and work hard to revive the spirit of small-business ownership—where the service is personal, friendly, and warm, where we can call you by name and take a moment to chat.
